Tanager Place

School-Based Services

Support for students, educators and mentors.

Tanager works with area school districts to make evidence-based treatment available to students struggling with mental and behavioral challenges. Involvement from teachers, staff, and parents gives students the best chance for success. Our programming offers onsite therapy as well as supports teachers and school officials with training, coaching, mentoring, and consultation and provides parent outreach to connect families with resources in their community.

Services are conveniently offered at school, eliminating the need for caregivers to arrange transportation. Tanager requires insurance for services and accepts Medicaid and most private insurance. Families are responsible for any co-pay that insurance does not cover.
